Zoom
Zoom unifies cloud video conferencing, simple online meetings, and cross platform group chat into one easy-to-use platform. Our solution offers the best video, audio, and screen-sharing experience across Zoom Rooms, Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, and H.323/SIP room systems.

You see, both Zoho Meeting and Zoom are rather fond of video conferencing. They both allow you to have meetings, share your screen (because who doesn’t like showing off their desktop?) and integrate with various apps that somehow make the whole ordeal feel slightly more organized. They also offer the slightly Orwellian feature of recording your meeting for when you inevitably forget what on earth you were supposed to be doing. And, of course, both can host meetings with a veritable army of participants, which is a bit like hosting a digital dinner party where no one has to wear pants.

Now, if you take a closer look at Zoho Meeting, you’ll find it’s relatively new to the scene, having arrived in 2020 and it hails from India. It’s much more at home in the small-business universe and especially shines for those who already live and breathe the Zoho ecosystem, with integrations like CRM and Mail. It also prides itself on being straightforward, offering simple pricing with no unexpected charges lurking in the shadows. It’s like the sensible cousin who just wants to make sure you have everything you need, without any complicated bells and whistles.

Then there's Zoom, which, in contrast, has been around since 2011 and comes from the good ol' U.S. of A. It’s the go-to tool for large enterprises and schools, boasting features like breakout rooms (which are just as fun as they sound), live polls and integrations that could make even the most organized person’s head spin. It’s the tool of choice for those who want every feature imaginable—and then some—offered for free, with the inevitable 40-minute limit for group meetings. You can almost hear the clock ticking down.
