Zoho Social
Social media management software for growing businesses. Manage multiple social networks, schedule unlimited posts, monitor keywords, and collaborate with your team — all from a single dashboard.
Social media management tools are a bit like intergalactic guidebooks—designed to help you navigate the vast, chaotic and occasionally hostile expanse of the internet. Sprout Social and Zoho Social both promise to keep you from spiraling into a black hole of missed tweets and forgotten LinkedIn posts. They let you schedule content, analyze performance and listen to what the digital cosmos is saying about you, all while pretending that social media isn’t just an elaborate game of shouting into the void. They’re also great for teams, because nothing says “collaboration” like five people debating the correct emoji for a brand announcement.

Sprout Social, born in the far-off land of America in 2010, is like a luxury space cruiser: sleek, powerful and rather expensive. It boasts an AI-powered social listening system, which means it’s basically eavesdropping on the internet for you at all times. It comes with a beautifully designed unified inbox, a built-in CRM and enough enterprise-level features to make large corporations weep with joy (or at least nod in approval). Naturally, all of this comes at a price that suggests it was designed for organizations with more money than existential dread.

Zoho Social, on the other hand, hails from India and made its grand entrance in 2015, presumably on a budget-friendly rocket. It’s part of the Zoho ecosystem, meaning it plays nicely with Zoho’s many other business tools, like a well-trained robot butler. It offers real-time social monitoring dashboards, customizable team roles, and—most shockingly—a free plan, which in the world of social media tools is roughly equivalent to discovering intelligent life in your backyard. It’s built for small to medium-sized businesses, meaning it won’t demand your entire marketing budget just to keep your tweets in order.
