TeamViewer
TeamViewer connects to any PC or server around the world within a few seconds. You can remote control your partner's PC as if you were sitting right in front of it.

Parsec and TeamViewer are both remote desktop access services for Windows, macOS and Linux. They provide free and paid versions, allow to transfer files and enable encryption for remote control sessions.

But Parsec (launched in 2016) is focused on content creators, gamers and creative professionals. It's optimized for high-traffic video streaming and requires better internet connection for optimal performance.

TeamViewer (2005) is German software designed for IT support, online business meetings and remote troubleshooting. It offers additional tools like VoIP, video conferencing and remote printing. It's even used for such use cases as industrial monitoring.
