RustDesk
Open source remote desktop software, allowing maintenance of computers and other devices. The RustDesk client is available for different operating systems. RustDesk has the aspiration to be an open source alternative for Remote desktop software like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.

Parsec and RustDesk are both remote desktop and remote support applications with cross-platform support. They enable low-latency connection for smooth user experience and enable file transfer.

But Parsec (launched in 2016) was primarily designed for gamers and professionals that need remote desktop access. It offers high resolution and low-latency streaming optimized for gaming. Parsec has free version with limitations and paid subscription with additional features.

RustDesk (2020) is a Chinese product aimed at general remote support and management, including IT support. It's open-source and can be self-hosted, if you need more control over data. RustDesk is completely free and open-source, with optional paid cloud-based services.
