Microsoft Power Automate and Zapier are both workflow automation tools that allow to automate tasks like data transfers, notifications and updates. They offer low-code/no-code interfaces for creating workflows, allow integration with hundreds of applications, including popular tools like Gmail, Slack and Microsoft 365, support conditional logic and multi-step workflows.

But Microsoft Power Automate (launched in 2016) is an enterprise solution for companies using Microsoft ecosystem. It features deep integration with Microsoft products like Teams, SharePoint and Dynamics 365 and requires a Microsoft 365 or Azure account for full functionality. It's pricing is quite complicated and is tied to Microsoft's enterprise subscriptions.

Zapier (launched in 2012) is a service for small business and individual users. It supports broader range of third-party apps compared to Power Automate and offers simpler interface. Zapier is more affordable and has a free tier.
