Microsoft Dynamics 365
With intelligent business applications across CRM and ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 gives you choice. Start with just what you need to run your business—and delight your customers. And then add apps as your needs change.

Oracle ERP
Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud is a suite of cloud applications for finance, project management, procurement, risk management, and other core day-to-day activities important in every business, regardless of size, industry, or geography. Designed from the ground-up with a modern architecture and technology, Oracle ERP Cloud is natively connected with all Oracle enterprise cloud applications and scales inherently to support added users, transactions, and sites as your business grows by size and into new markets across your country or the globe.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Oracle ERP, despite their grand-sounding names, both promise to revolutionize how businesses function, though neither can prevent you from spilling coffee on your keyboard. They exist in the cloud, on your premises (assuming your premises are big enough) and claim to harness the mighty powers of AI to make your spreadsheets slightly more intelligent. Both are adept at juggling finance, HR and supply chains and both claim to integrate seamlessly with things you probably don’t fully understand but definitely need. They’re aimed at mid-size to large enterprises, which is a polite way of saying "if you have to ask how much, it’s too much."

Microsoft Dynamics 365, hailing from the grand software temples of Redmond, USA, emerged in 2016, which in tech years is roughly the time it takes for a fruit fly to develop philosophy. It enjoys cozying up with Microsoft 365 and Azure, making it the friendliest choice for businesses that have already signed their souls to Excel. Modular and relatively easy to adopt, it politely invites mid-sized businesses to the ERP party without demanding their firstborn in licensing fees. In short, it's a bit like a Swiss Army knife that insists on integrating with your Outlook calendar.

Oracle ERP, on the other hand, has been around since 1977, meaning it has had ample time to learn, evolve and develop a rather smug attitude. Designed for large enterprises with vast, complex operations, it thrives in labyrinthine financial systems and supply chains that could probably transport an elephant to Mars if required. It is powerful, comprehensive and absolutely certain that it knows best. Implementing it can be costly, but if your company name includes words like "Global," "Holdings," or "Conglomerate," you were probably going to pick it anyway.
