UiPath
UiPath is a leading Robotic Process Automation vendor providing a complete software platform to help organizations efficiently automate business processes. UiPath offers a drag-and-drop interface for building automation workflows without coding.
Kryon and UiPath are both incredibly clever at doing things so that humans don’t have to. They can automate repetitive tasks, integrate with all sorts of enterprise applications and even pretend to be interested in process discovery. They come with both attended and unattended automation, meaning they can either work quietly in the background or pester you with helpful prompts. Cloud, on-premises, AI—these two have it all and they’re terribly proud of it.

Kryon, hailing from Israel since 2011, likes to think of itself as the whole package: it doesn’t just automate; it discovers what should be automated in the first place, which saves everyone the hassle of thinking too hard. It is particularly obsessed with industries drowning in processes, such as banking and healthcare and has a rather unique approach using visual recognition rather than just traditional UI-based selectors. This makes it feel rather special, like a robot with X-ray vision, though it mostly uses this talent for paperwork.

UiPath, on the other hand, was born in Romania in 2005 and has since decided it would very much like to take over the world, thank you very much. It has a vast developer community, an impressive ecosystem of automation tools and a whole academy to make sure more humans learn how to use it, thus increasing its own influence. It thrives in big enterprises, loves AI-driven document understanding and has fully embraced the low-code/no-code revolution, ensuring that anyone—even those who think "coding" is just another word for "mysterious gibberish"—can get in on the automation fun.
