Simply and securely deliver and manage any app on any device, anywhere with Workspace ONE, the intelligence-driven digital workspace platform.
Jamf and Workspace ONE are two titans in the rather thrillingly mundane world of enterprise mobility management (EMM), the sort of thing that would make a sentient spreadsheet drool with delight. Jamf, much like an obsessive Apple fan who has tattooed the Apple logo on every available limb, dedicates itself entirely to managing Apple devices. If it’s sleek, metallic and has a piece of fruit emblazoned on it, Jamf will handle it with the kind of love and care typically reserved for newborn kittens or expensive wine. In the Apple universe of macOS, iOS and iPadOS, Jamf is not just the law, it's the way, the truth and the light—guiding companies with a simple promise: "We shall secure your iPads as if they were holy relics."
Workspace ONE, meanwhile, is less concerned with exclusive fruit affiliations and more with keeping every conceivable device in the known universe in line, as if it were the galaxy’s most overworked hall monitor. Created by VMware, it boldly strides where no platform has gone before, managing apps, desktops and devices as though it were knitting together the very fabric of reality. Not only does it manage things, but it also tries to make the experience somewhat pleasant—despite the fact that devices and operating systems range from charmingly outdated to annoyingly modern—by providing a unified platform for managing *everything.* It’s like the Swiss Army knife of digital workspaces, if a Swiss Army knife could juggle a dozen operating systems and still make you a cup of tea.
In short, Jamf is the Apple management guru with a laser focus, while Workspace ONE is the multitasking mastermind, nonchalantly balancing the entire digital universe without breaking a sweat. And so, enterprises must choose: Do they want a specialized Apple whisperer, or a cosmic juggler of all things digital?
