Google Classroom makes teaching more productive and meaningful by streamlining assignments, boosting collaboration, and fostering communication. Educators can create classes, distribute assignments, send feedback, and see everything in one place. Classroom also seamlessly integrates with other Google tools like Google Docs and Drive.

Move your training online with TalentLMS. A cloud-based learning platform ideal for creating online courses and sharing them with remote teams.
Imagine, if you will, two rather sophisticated digital contraptions designed to help you learn things — in an organized, efficient and rather predictable way. Both Google Classroom and TalentLMS exist to manage courses, assignments and assessments, all while encouraging a bit of collaborative spirit through discussions and shared materials. They both live in the cloud (which is a rather magical place, if you’re not familiar) and they’ve made sure to integrate with other apps because, well, who doesn't like a good integration? You can access them on almost any device, even if your device happens to be more of a coffee cup holder than an actual piece of technology.
Now, Google Classroom, it’s quite the popular one, especially with schools — particularly K-12 — where its simplicity and integration with Google Workspace make it as irresistible as a fresh cup of tea. Launched in 2014 by the fine folks over at Google in the U.S., it's completely free for users who have a Google account, which is, let's face it, everyone and their cat. However, don’t expect much more than an educational playground; if you’re in the market for corporate learning management, this one might not be your best bet. It’s a bit like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole, if you ask me.
TalentLMS, on the other hand, is a bit more serious, like that friend who never misses a deadline. This one hails from Greece and came to life in 2012, with the clear goal of making corporate training a smoother experience. It’s paid, naturally and packed with advanced reporting, certifications and compliance tracking features that will have your HR department singing its praises. Not to mention, it lets you customize the experience as though it were your own private galaxy, with options like white-labeling and custom branding. It’s all a bit more corporate, a bit more polished and a tad less whimsical than its Google counterpart.
