Creatio
Creatio (formerly bpmonline) is a single platform to accelerate sales, marketing, service. It's a process-driven cloud based software that connects the dots between marketing, sales and customer service, allowing to efficiently manage the complete customer journey – from lead to order, and to ongoing account maintenance.

Salesforce
Most-popular CRM. Easy collaboration. Proven cloud platform. Salesforce.com offers everything you need to transform your business into a Social Enterprise, so you can connect to customers and employees like never before. With no software or hardware to install, you're up and running—and seeing a positive impact on your business—quickly.

Creatio and Salesforce are both sophisticated cloud-based CRM platforms, which, if left unchecked, could probably gain sentience and start managing human relationships better than humans themselves. They both automate sales, marketing and service processes, integrate with all sorts of software that nobody fully understands and boast AI-driven analytics that promise to predict customer behavior—though they still can’t tell you why Dave from accounting keeps clicking the same email twenty times. Businesses, particularly those with a penchant for digital transformation (or just a mild fear of being left behind), rely on them to streamline operations, though whether they ever truly feel “streamlined” is a question best left for philosophers.

Creatio, hailing from Ukraine and established in 2011, leans heavily into the whole “let’s automate everything” approach, offering deep business process automation that can probably schedule your lunch breaks if you let it. It’s notably cheaper than its American cousin and provides a no-code development environment so intuitive that even your cat could probably configure a workflow—if it cared. Industries with complex processes, like banking and manufacturing, seem to like Creatio, possibly because it can untangle the sort of bureaucratic nightmares that would make lesser software run for the hills.

Salesforce, on the other hand, has been around since 1999 and was born in the USA, much like rock and roll and an inexplicable love for peanut butter. It boasts a vast ecosystem, powered by the AppExchange, where you can find an add-on for just about anything, including things you didn’t know you needed. Its Einstein AI promises deep insights, although its true ambition is probably to convince you to buy more Salesforce products. Large enterprises adore it because it scales globally and can be customized down to the last painful detail—though the price tag may require deep breathing exercises before purchase.
