CrowdStrike
CrowdStrike's cloud-native endpoint security platform combines Next-Gen Av, EDR, Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting, and much more.

Coro and CrowdStrike are both highly intelligent, AI-driven cybersecurity solutions that tirelessly guard businesses from the digital equivalent of Vogon poetry—malware, ransomware and phishing attacks. They work in the cloud, watching, analyzing and occasionally sighing at the sheer recklessness of human users. Both claim to offer real-time protection, which is just a fancy way of saying they attempt to stop disasters before they become the kind of disasters that require a strongly worded email to the IT department.

Coro, an Israeli creation born in 2014, prides itself on being the friendly, no-fuss cybersecurity solution for small and mid-sized businesses—the sort of businesses that might be more concerned with keeping the coffee machine running than hiring an army of security experts. It bundles everything from email protection to compliance in one neat package, like a particularly diligent butler who insists on tidying up even the existential mess that is corporate security. It’s affordable, easy to use and doesn't require a PhD in cryptography to operate, which is rather nice.

CrowdStrike, on the other hand, is the grizzled veteran of the cybersecurity universe, emerging in the U.S. in 2011 with its Falcon platform, which sounds rather heroic. It caters to enterprises, governments and organizations that suspect they might one day be targeted by supervillains or, more realistically, state-sponsored hackers with an unhealthy enthusiasm for disruption. Unlike Coro, which cheerfully automates most security tasks, CrowdStrike leans into elite threat hunting, forensic analysis and all the things that make security professionals feel like they’re in a cyber-thriller movie.
