GoToMeeting
GoToMeeting allows you to host an online meeting with up to 15 people – so you can do more and travel less. Using our web conferencing tool, you can share any application on your computer in real time. Attendees join meetings in seconds. Enable high-definition video conferencing with one click.
ClickMeeting and GoToMeeting are, at first glance, remarkably similar. Both allow you to sit at home in your pajamas while looking extremely professional on video. They let you share your screen, record meetings and integrate seamlessly with tools like Outlook and Google Calendar—so you can pretend to be extremely organized. Neither of them insists on a tedious software installation, because that would make things far too easy to procrastinate. And, of course, they both have mobile apps, ensuring that you can be interrupted by work from absolutely anywhere.

ClickMeeting, however, fancies itself more of a grand spectacle. It caters to the noble art of webinars, online training and large-scale virtual events where people sit in silent anticipation, waiting for the host to realize they're still on mute. Hailing from Poland and making its debut in 2011, ClickMeeting has a penchant for automation—on-demand webinars, marketing tools and even breakout rooms for the especially ambitious. It’s the kind of platform that believes meetings should be structured, orchestrated, and, ideally, involve an audience large enough to make one feel important.

GoToMeeting, on the other hand, has been around since 2004 and was born in the United States, which explains its no-nonsense approach to business meetings and remote team collaboration. It comes armed with AES-256 encryption, in case you’re planning to discuss the meaning of life, the universe and everything in absolute secrecy. It also features a commuter mode, which is perfect for pretending to pay attention while dodging pedestrians on the way to work. Unlike its more flamboyant counterpart, GoToMeeting is all about getting things done—unless, of course, you accidentally schedule a meeting at the same time as lunch.
