Boomi
Dell Boomi allows you to connect any combination of Cloud, SaaS, or On-Premise applications with no appliances, no software, and no coding. With Boomi you will achieve unprecedented implementation speeds that are just not possible with software packages, hardware appliances, or custom coding. Using only your web browser, you can sign up, log in and then build and deploy your integrations at whatever pace you require.

SnapLogic
Social, Mobile, Analytics, Cloud Computing and The Internet of Things. If you’re feeling SMACT, it’s time to get Snapped. SnapLogic delivers a powerful, yet easy to use Elastic Integration platform for “citizen integrators” to connect all sources, sizes and types of data at cloud speed.

Boomi and SnapLogic are both what you might call "cloud-based integration platforms," which, if you're not sure what that means, is a fancy way of saying they help all your various apps and systems talk to each other, much like a multilingual diplomat at a chaotic intergalactic conference. Both offer handy tools for stitching together cloud-based and on-premise systems and each one comes with pre-built connectors that save you the hassle of learning ancient languages like "XML" or "SOAP." They also like to brag about their no-code, low-code features, making them accessible even to those who aren't fluent in the mysterious art of coding.

Now, Boomi, bless its little digital heart, has been around since 2007 and aims its services at larger, more complex enterprises that need not just integration, but process automation and API management too. It’s based in the United States and boasts a visual interface that’s as straightforward as an elevator pitch (if that elevator happens to have an integrated data pipeline). It’s also quite good at managing workflows, making sure everything hums along like a well-oiled machine – if machines were more prone to going on strike over low wages.

Meanwhile, SnapLogic, which has been around since 2006 (so it’s almost like a vintage wine of integration platforms), is more focused on industries like healthcare and finance. Also hailing from the United States, SnapLogic likes to play with AI, using "Snap" components to power its big data and machine learning integrations. It’s less about enterprise process automation and more about crafting complex data flows that are as sophisticated as a spaceship’s navigation system, except with fewer buttons and more clever algorithms.
