RustDesk
Open source remote desktop software, allowing maintenance of computers and other devices. The RustDesk client is available for different operating systems. RustDesk has the aspiration to be an open source alternative for Remote desktop software like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.

AnyDesk and RustDesk are both popular remote user support and desktop access software that work on Windows, macOS, Linux android and iOS. They provide end-to-end encryption for secure connections allow file transfer between connected sides and can be used for personal and professional remote support.

But AnyDesk (launched in 2014) is German service primarily targeted at businesses and enterprise users. It's a proprietary software with a subscription-based pricing model. It offers free and commercial version with additional features like session recording and remote printing. Self-hosted option exists but relies on cloud-based infrastructure.

RustDesk (2021) is Chinese open-source project, primarily targeted at individuals and small business. It offers only self-hosted server option that gives you full control over the infrastructure. It's free to use, but you can get support only in community.
