The award-winning eClinicalWorks Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is more than just a way for your practice to go paperless. Unified with the eClinicalWorks Practice Management system, patient flow from check-in to departure is streamlined. Workflow from the front desk to physicians to billing office staff is seamless. Documentation is faster using templates, drop-down lists, and more
In a galaxy not entirely unlike our own, two rather ambitious pieces of software—AdvancedMD and eClinicalWorks—float serenely above the sea of paperwork that often swamps healthcare providers. Both are clever little cloud-based creatures that offer practices the ability to schedule, bill and manage patients, all while remaining cheerfully customizable. And as it so often happens in the world of medical technology, both come equipped with telemedicine tools to facilitate virtual consultations, much like an interplanetary comms device, but for humans.
AdvancedMD, a product of the good ol’ United States, first saw the light of day in 1999. It's particularly fond of small practices and offers a user interface that would make even the most disgruntled office worker consider a career change. Its support is so personal, it might remind you of the days when a helpful shopkeeper actually knew your name. While it’s more of a solo adventurer, its billing and administrative tools are meticulously designed, as if crafted by a team of highly efficient, caffeine-fueled squirrels.
Then there’s eClinicalWorks, a slightly more expansive creature that also emerged in 1999 but, like a space-faring explorer, has spread its roots to various corners of the world. Known for its ability to communicate with just about any other system in existence, it’s got interoperability down to a fine art, like a translator in a room full of babbling aliens. With a smattering of AI, population health analytics and patient engagement features, eClinicalWorks is ready to handle the big leagues and make data-driven decisions that might otherwise have been considered science fiction.
